The company was formed in May 1985 and moved into its present location in November of 1987. Originally started as a heavy equipment repair shop specializing in mining, forestry and construction equipment, we became J.C.B. Construction Equipment Dealers in 1989.

In 1994 we saw the need to develop a rugged utility carrier for use in underground mining that could be adapted to handle different applications i.e. personnel carrier, electricians boom truck, mechanics vehicle etc. and so a prototype was built. We since have made several improvements to the machine to improve its reliability and to make it more mechanic friendly.
The company handles major overhauls of all types of mine equipment.
